At its heart, coaching offers a process to help you understand where you are in your life, where you want to get to, and how to go about it.
At its heart, coaching offers a process to help you understand where you are in your life, where you want to get to, and how to go about it.
I am delighted to share this special offer with clients of The Treatment Rooms – book a one hour session for just £65, reduced from £100. This is a great opportunity to try coaching in an affordable way without committing to a full programme.
Offer valid until 30 April 2022, and coaching must be taken before 15 July 2022.
Life and work coaching gives you the time to focus, to be listened to and to use coaching questions, tools and techniques to open your awareness to new ways of looking at something. Navigate change, unblock barriers, look at possibilities in a new light, and create an action plan.
Working with me you will have the space to explore what lies at the heart of the things you want to change, what is getting in the way and co-create a plan to help you move towards the future self or life you wish for. The techniques and insights you draw from your coaching session will support you to create an approach to life or work that you can use time and again.
Often people arrive with an idea they want ‘life’ coaching or ‘career’ coaching. But in reality the two intermingle and during your coaching session, we’ll look at your whole person using an integrated approach.
We will meet either at my house in Brighton or on zoom, and start off the session looking at the Wheel of Life tool to get a snapshot of how you feel about the different areas of your life.
Then through questions, reflections and a range of tools I can bring to the session, we will explore the issue more deeply, and consider where relevant:
After the session I will send brief notes to support you in reflecting on your thinking, and outline your next steps.
If you’d like to book an appointment – message me here and we can agree a time. This offer is valid until 30 April 2022, and coaching must be taken before 15 July 2022.
The pandemic, and the restrictions on daily living, forced people to slow down. This change of pace has given us the chance to stop living on auto-pilot and to use the time to reflect and re-evaluate. It’s given us time to rethink what we want in life, from our career, our relationship with ourselves, our loved ones and the communities around us.
I’m passionate about supporting people to navigate major transitions in life to step confidently onto new pathways and feel aligned to their purpose. I help people to understand what gets in the way of us creating the life we really want, and how to go about removing those barriers to live with a greater sense of fulfilment.
I’m 49, living in Brighton with my partner and two children, aged 15 and 13.
My move into coaching came when I hit my mid 40s – recently divorced, my Mum was diagnosed with dementia, my Dad’s health was declining rapidly. I needed something with more meaning. People had often said to me ‘I’m due a Caroline chat, when can we meet’ – I can connect with people to figure out thorny issues through conversation. I’ve trained in Exec and Senior Leadership coaching, both with Management Futures and through the ILM Level 7 Certificate, along with a myriad of other shorter courses.
I feel profoundly grateful for the life I have built. It’s taken a lot of hard work on my part – managing my own anxiety, loss, tough times and courage. I couldn’t have done it without support.
It’s why I chose to specialise in supporting people during major change to find their purpose – careers, starting a family, starting a new business, post break up, rebuilding life after bereavement, retirement, or that feeling of needing something to change but not being sure what it is.
Before coaching, I worked for 25 years at senior level in publishing & marketing in public and private sectors. I’ve worked in award winning agencies alongside some of the best known brands in the UK including John Lewis, Post Office, TSB.
I’ve lived in Brighton for 20 years, I moved here from London. Travel is in my family’s DNA, my Dad was from Chile, I was born in Barbados, my Mum was a glamorous air hostess in the early 60s. In my younger years, I travelled extensively in Africa, India, Thailand, and lived in California, Sydney, Montpelier. This travel has been a cornerstone to the influences I bring to my practise.
My journeys through Africa and India broadened my view of the world as I was moving into early adulthood. Drawn to understanding how we can live a more authentic life, and my interests in neuroscience, I have read and studied extensively on how we can work towards this. Daily morning meditation and being outside in nature have helped me with times in my life when I have felt overwhelmed and in need of a steadying guide. Intentional goal setting and seeing things through are also crucial.
